What do you enjoy most about Revenue Cycle Management?
Revenue Cycle Management is more than just about billing insurance and getting paid, it’s about bringing a team together to working toward a common goal of success. Each member of the team has a crucial role to play. When a team understands their value in the cycle then priorities are clear, the team is happy, and the clinic is financially strong.
What do you love most about ABC Therapeutic Billing Services?
I work with a dedicated team that are experts in their field. We have a strong set of Core Values that guide us in every encounter and choice we make. I love being able to bring that expertise and those values to our clients and see them meet their goals, achieve their dreams, and regain the passion that brought them to the medical world.
What do you do at ABC?
My focus at ABC is to build a strong revenue cycle flow by refining and simplifying billing for the entire support team and providers. I work closely with owners to ensure that every team member understands the importance of their role and has the tools, training and support necessary to excel at that role as it relates to the billing efficiency. A highly trained and dedicated team working within their role toward a common goal translates to a strong revenue cycle and increased profitability.
What strengths make you suited for what you do?
I have worked within the medical system for thirty years with my focus on helping private practices achieve greater financial success. I have seen how hard it has become for owners to meet financial goals and also provide their patients optimal care. I understand how to navigate the grey areas of insurance billing and have worked and consulted with practices that have grown exponentially by applying true principles I have taught them consistently that will yield positive results.
What are your interests outside of work?
The outdoors call me! You can usually find me on the beach body boarding or hiking in the woods with my family. When the weather turns colder its time to play in the snow and then curl up in front of a fire with a good book.
